Vivian Louise Pearson's Obituary
Vivian Louise (Metcalfe) Pearson, a cherished mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
She was truly a one-of-a-kind woman, who never met a stranger. Originally born in Charleston, MS, on March 7, 1949, Vivian spent her later years in New Orleans, where she retired as a taxi cab driver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Young Pearson and Benjamin Pearson, and her sister, Dianne Pearson; her grandson, B.J. Metcalfe; and her great-granddaughter, Nanette Metcalfe.
Vivian will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A special thank you to the caregivers at UMC and The Sanctuary at Passages Hospice for the compassionate care and comfort they provided during her final days.
