Thomas "Tommy" J. Simoneaux's Obituary
Thomas “Tommy” J. Simoneaux passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 in Covington, LA. He was 46.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Paul Simoneaux. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Y. Simoneaux, his children, Matthew B. Simoneaux and Kirsten B. Simoneaux, his mother, Molly Simoneaux and his brothers, Gerritt Simoneaux (Nicole) and Jeffrey Simoneaux. Thomas was born in Marrero, LA and was a resident of Covington, LA since 2006. He was a graduate of John Ehret High School class of 1997 and then graduated from Herzing University where he received his associate’s degree in Computer Science. He was a Wintel Team Lead for Peraton.
Tommy enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, whether immersed in video games, working with computers, or spending time at the gun range. His greatest love, however, was for his family and his loyal companion, Maximus. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and a heart that was always open to others.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:00 am at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA with the visitation beginning at 9:00 am.
