Patrick "Pat" Cullen passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, November 23, 2025. He was born on May 14, 1949, and grew up in River Ridge, LA.
Pat is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Cullen, and their children: Katherine Colon, Theresa Cullen, John Cullen, Ryan Cullen, Josh Cullen, Timothy Cullen, David Cullen, and Jared Cullen. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wallace Cullen, Jr. and Nadine Townsend Cullen, and his brother, William Wallace Cullen III.
Pat attended Rummel High School and went on to earn a degree in Animal Sciences from Southeastern Louisiana University. An avid outdoorsman, he was happy to name just about any odd bug/creature that you might encounter. He married his high school sweetheart, Wanda, in July, 1973.
Pat was known for his legendary "dad burgers," his mischievous spirit (including a certain incident involving a freight train), his sense of humor, and penchant for Boudreaux and Thibodeaux jokes. Above all, he was a man devoted wholeheartedly to his family and Catholic faith.
