Patricia “Pat” Norwood Mapes, age 81, of Mineola, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 9, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her loving husband, Archie Mapes, and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Norwood and Betty Honeycutt Norwood; and a brother, Joe Norwood.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Bruhl Cemetery in Folsom, Louisiana, with interment to follow.
