Norman "Ray" Miller Jr.'s Obituary
Norman “Ray” Miller, Jr., age 68, of Covington, Louisiana, and formerly of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. He was born on September 15, 1957, in Mobile, Alabama.
He is survived by his daughter, Jaimee Koepp; grandchildren, Jacob Koepp, Mia Koepp, and Zoey Koepp; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Ray Miller, Sr. and Mellonee Elliott Miller; and siblings, Roy E. York and Judy D. York.
Ray was a man whose life was rooted in faith, love, and connection. He loved God deeply, and his faith guided the way he lived, treated others, and found hope in both joyful and difficult times. He believed in kindness, forgiveness, and showing up for the people he cared about.
Family meant everything to him. He cherished not only his own family, but also his friends, who he considered family as well. His relationships were built on loyalty, laughter, and shared memories, and he had a way of making people feel welcomed and valued wherever he went.
He had a passion for football (Roll Tide!) and could always be counted on to cheer, debate plays, and enjoy the excitement of the game. Music was another great joy in his life. He loved to sing, never missing an opportunity to grab the microphone and bring smiles to those around him.
Above all, Ray will be remembered for his faith-filled heart, his love for people, and the joy he brought into every room. His voice, his laughter, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
