Lance Larose's Obituary
Lance Larose, at the age of 73, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026. He was born on June 26, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Maureen Fitzpatrick Larose; his children, Katharine Larose (Marty Yoo) and Alicia Hampton (Kurt Hampton); grandchildren, Joseph and Benjamin Hampton; and siblings, Deborah Larose Farge (Wally Farge) and Gisele Larose (Curt Corbi). He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and wonderful lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey Garner Larose and Alvin Larose.
Lance proudly graduated as part of Brother Martin’s first graduating class in 1970. He spent most of his career in the construction industry. A lifelong New Orleanian through and through, Lance’s relationship with the Saints was nothing short of passionate. When the Saints were up, he was up. When you couple a Saints victory with the legendary Sunday Larose family spaghetti and meatballs dinner, you could pretty much guarantee he’d be walking on air all week. Family was the heartbeat of Lance’s world. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his two grandsons, who were the light of his life. Lance will forever be smiling down upon us, enjoying endless chicken wings from Lakeview Harbor and yelling at the NFL refs from the best seat in the house.
