Kathleen Margaret Bell Valley (fondly known as “Bell”), entered eternal rest on Tuesday morning, September 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Bell will be celebrating her 92nd birthday in Heaven in a week. Bell was born in Read Obituary
Kathleen was my sister-in-law, but she was much more. Her and my brother were like a second set of parents to me. When I was very young they would take me places, many times meeting with their friends.Those experiences expanded my childhood and the memories are cherished. How mant sister-in-laws are interested in having a "kid" tag along on dates?
She was always loving and caring of me. It was just her way. It was her way with everyone, especially her family.
I'll miss her a lot! Everyone will! But thank you Kathleen for teaching us about love and leaving us with so many memories of love. It's how you will be remembered.
Bell was the best! She helped me over my fears at Dr. Allen's office since I was in the 5th grade. As an adult I sold her hundreds of beads to make all those rosaries. When she couldn't drive, she would call me at the store (Ponchatoula) to tell me what beads she needed and that I should count each bead to make sure she had enough. Then she would ask me when I could bring them to her. It was my pleasure to take them to her. I will miss her very much. I'm sure she is in Heaven just because of all those rosaries!

Stephen, Jane and Mitchell and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a good person and friend to many, especially to those in need. She had a kind and sympathetic heart. She will be missed by many. However she will be celebrating her birthday with your dad and many of her friends and family who have preceded her in death. Her memory will always live on as long as there is a "Valley" around. She raised a wonderful family and extended her kindness and caring to all her family.
