Every time I go back to Mandeville and I am driving through Lacombe, I think I should go by and visit. It has been a while since we talked. It just goes to show that you should never put off the things that are important. I am grateful that we did keep up a relationship after Mom passed away. It was a hard road in the beginning, but I feel we came a long way. I learned how much you loved her and took care of her and stood by her side day and night when she was sick. You were very good for her. I just wish I had known that from the beginning. Better late than never, right? Now y'all are together again. May you rest in peace and be an everlasting light to your loved ones down here on earth. Until we meet again.
