Lt. Col. Francis M. “Frank” Long, USAF Ret. passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 with his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Claudette Normand Long.
Father of Marybeth Long. Brother of Kenneth Long. Brother-in-law of Marylou Long and Betty Ducote. Uncle of John, Mark and Paul Long, Kenneth and David Ducote.
Age 82 years. A native of Waynesville, MO and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 35 years. He served in the US Air Force for 22 years and was the Aviation Manager for McDermott for 16 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Road, St. Benedict, LA 70457 on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Heritage Manor Nursing Home for their caring work for 4 ½ years and St. Catherine Hospice for their gentle care.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Road, St. Benedict, LA 70457.
