David Peter Pericone Sr.'s Obituary
David Peter Pericone, Sr., age 57, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026. He was born on June 29, 1968, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is survived by his parents, Peter M. “Pete” Pericone and Darlene Aiena Pericone; sister, Lisa Pericone Irby (Jeff); children, David “D.J.” Pericone, Jr., Ashley Pericone Swartzendruber (Aaron), Joseph Pericone (Chevie Willyard), and John Pericone; and many extended family members and friends.
David was a 1986 graduate of Chalmette High School and attended Delgado Community College. He was a music producer and radio talk show host as a young man, his favorite show being “Banjo Talk”. Later in life, he worked for many years as a telephone technician with AT&T. He was also a devoted Christian and follower of Christ. However, his greatest roles were being a proud dad to his four children, loving son and brother to his parents and sister, and caring friend to everyone he knew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM at North Cross Methodist Church, 311 Highway 21, Madisonville, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM.
