Big Mama was a formidable woman with a big heart and a big laugh. I remember fondly some wonderful Thanksgivings, and know she is making waves in the graet beyond. My biggest love to her family.
From a family friend:
“Your mama was an amazing woman, scared the shit outta me a couple times haha
But definitely helped and loved more ❤️
Her “cussing me out” in her way, is actually a core memory haha
Once on the porch, and once in the living room at your house haha!
That, and her picking me up in the Quarter to take me to y’all’s place when I was 15. All of those memories are still vivid like it was yesterday.
And of course her letting y’all use your allowance to buy me cigarettes.. bonus points 🤣🤣❤️
She told me in the kitchen, I won’t make you go home, but you can’t be on the streets.
She actually kinda dodged my parents a bit and left it up to me to have them come or not. That was really big of her. Definitely a social worker’s talents”
My most sincere condolences on the passing of Lynn. I know her passing leaves a void in your hearts. I am confident that Aunt Stubby & Uncle Bub (and all of our aunts & uncles) were waiting for her with open loving arms. My prayers for her children & grands and all who loved her.

Godspeed Mom. Thanks for always being there. It meant more than I think you’ll ever know. I can still hear you laughing at my jokes, and your words of encouragement. I know I would not be the person I am today, if you had not been in my life. Love You Always, Motorcycle Chris.
