Clarence J. "C.J." Otillio's Obituary
Clarence J. “C.J.” Otillio passed away on Monday April 26, 2021 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Kathy Asevado Otillio for 37 years. Loving father to Catherine O. Casey (Larry), Laurie O. O’Rourke (Dan), and Michael S. Otillio (Melanie). Son of the late Charles and Estelle Otillio. Brother of Ann Aleman, John Otillio, Winston Otillio, Lawrence Otillio, Randolph Otillio, Susan Edmondson, and the late Charles Otillio, Jr., Beverly Gross, Gordon Otillio, Jean Artus, and Elaine Gatlin. Also survived by 3 granddaughters, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was born in New Orleans, a current resident of Hammond, and called St. Bernard home for many years. CJ loved Tulane football, Mardi Gras, and all things New Orleans, all of which was overshadowed by his deep love of family. He derived great joy in cooking for large holiday get togethers and summers barbeques with the entire family. He will be dearly missed. The family would like to express its sincere gratitude to Peggy with Wilkinson Caregiving, and North Oaks Hospice, specifically Treniece and Jane for their care and compassion.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on
Friday April 30, 2021 at 3:00 PM with visitation beginning on Friday April 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made the SPCA or the local animal rescue or towards Masses.
