Chris Anthony Pierce's Obituary
Chris Anthony Pierce, age 75, of Mandeville, LA passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026. He was born on October 8, 1950 in New Orleans, LA.
Chris is survived by his wife, Debra C. Pierce of 51 years; his daughters, Amanda Pierce Hepburn (Jeffery) and Allison Pierce Terrebonne (Gregory); his grandchildren, McKenna, Jacob, Mia, Maddox, and Michael; his siblings, Roxanne Pierce Dupaquier, Joey Pierce (Eva), Ricky Pierce (Ann), Kim Pierce (Rusty), Becky Pierce Talamo (Perry) and many extended family members and friends.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Folse Pierce; his father, Nolan Pierce; and his brother, Gary Pierce.
Chris was the eldest of 7 and loved each of his siblings dearly. He was blessed with a big heart and a willingness to help others, despite his own situations. Growing up with very little made his imagination flourish and led them on many adventures. That very imagination allowed him to find his passion at an early age, which ultimately led him to meeting his beautiful bride, Debbie and becoming a father to two beautiful daughters. He dedicated 56 years of his life to his craft as a hairstylist, and 39 of those years included his beloved customers at the Hair Cottage. His lighthearted greetings and warm smile would brighten even the darkest days. Outside of work he enjoyed spending time with his family, “gettin’ in the yard”, and dancing at weddings. But, once his grandbabies entered his life, they brought him the greatest joy of all. Chris rarely had a meaningful conversation without mentioning the name of Jesus. He loved our Lord and Savior unapologetically and his prayer for all those he knew was that we put God first and seek the Kingdom of Heaven.
