Charles "Chip" Nichols' Obituary
Charles “Chip” Nichols, at the age of 57, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was born on May 1, 1968, in Willimantic, Connecticut.
He is survived by his great friends, Megan Young and Brad and wonderful lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Nichols and Doris Ogushwitz Nichols.
Chip’s passions included building model airplanes and flying aircrafts. He loved his job and took great pride in being a jack-of-all-trades in mechanics.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Chip may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home and Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11:30 AM.
