I just discovered that Tony, my longtime co-worker at Shell, had recent passed away. I have nothing but wonderful memories of Tony - funny, caring, great stories. And since I was the lone female draftsman at Shell back then, he and many others in that department that really looked out for me. It was my first job, so I needed the direction. and he helped clue me in to so much that I needed to know. I last saw him at Dr. Passauer’s dental office - we were both patients! I met your dad some 20 years ago, in line at Mcdonald's
in Walmart superstore. It was a pleasure to speak to him then or any other time we spoke. When I did meet Mrs. Shirley, you could tell what true love was. Something we don't see now a day. His family was everything to him. He spoke highly of every one of you. All of the accomplishments of each. Keep that going in your families, we need the old fashion ways back in our lives. To a true gentleman that I will never forget. Take care Mr. Tony, so glad you are back with the love of your life. Until we talk again.

Mr. Tony was an amazing and caring, true southern gentleman. Very knowledgeable and madly in love with his wife Shirley. Loved sitting with Mr. Tony and listening to all his stories and he had some stories! This world would be an awesome place if there were more on this Earth like him. I know he is rejoicing in Heaven with our Heavenly Father and the love of his life, Shirley. My God give you the comfort and strength needed in your time of loss.
We have known your Dad for over twenty years, and have come to appreciate him more with the passing of time. He reminds me of all that is good about his generation that is almost gone now. His devotion and love for your Mom Shirley was an example for all of us to follow. It was always a pleasure to be able to sit and talk with him and listen to his stories. He was a kind, devoted, and generous man who surely will be missed.
