Wilma "Mickey" Betty Stewart Allen

Wilma “Mickey” Betty Stewart Allen, age 91 of Mandeville, entered heavenly eternal rest peacefully on the morning of Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Windsor Senior Living Center Mandeville LA. She was born in Cicero, Illinois on May 11, 1930 to Donald Stewart and Leona Beach Stewart. Mickey was a native of Cicero, IL and longtime resident of Denver, CO for over 60 years. She married Cal Dean Allen September 23, 1948. Mickey is survived by her loving children, Teresa Green, Ron Allen and Candice Allen. She was the proud grandmother of Sherree (Steven) May, Michael (Amy) Allen, Lisa Allen and Amber Allen and devoted great-grandmother to Myles (Sarah) Sonnier, Alex Kammerzell, Jordan Allen Hailey Sladick, and Orion Sladick. Mickey was a caring sibling to Leona Steffan, and she is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Mickey is preceded in death by her husband, Cal Allen; son, Larry Allen; her parents, Donald and Leona Stewart; and sister, Dolores Martin. Mickey was humble, determined, and most of all a very caring person to those she loved. She enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and indoors cooking and baking. However, her true passion was spending time with her loving family. Mickey was unique, well respected and liked by all. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery - Chapel Hill, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, Colorado 80121 on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM with visitation at 12:00 PM until service time.
