Jinette Diane Desjardins Lee Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jinette Diane Desjardins Lee passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Covington, LA. She was born on December 23, 1941, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Elie P. Desjardins and Rita Gagnon Desjardins. Jinette was the beloved wife of the late Russell Lee for 62 years. She was the loving mother of Diane Lee Graham and husband, Dean Graham and Michael Lee and wife, Laurie Lee. Jinette was the proud grandmother of Alexandra Lee, Michael Lee and wife Katie Baughman Lee, Drew Graham and wife Alyson Deville Graham, Dylan Graham and Drake Graham. She was the sister of Yvonne Desjardins, Jean Paul Desjardins, Bert Desjardins, Rolande Hopkins, Raymond Desjardins, Ann Desjardins, Elie Desjardins and preceded in death by the late Jeannine Desjardins, Camille Desjardins, Donald Desjardins, and Stu Desjardins. The delight of her later years was the late beloved pet, Murphy. Jinette also left behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who she has touched in some special way. Jinette loved sunrises, walks on the beach, reading, dancing to the oldies, and doting over every 4-legged canine she encountered. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them, especially her beloved grandkids. Mom, grandma, sister and friend—enriched the lives of everyone she knew or just met, she will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Peace comes from knowing she is rejoicing today in Heaven with her Lord and Savior and enjoying a beautiful reunion with the love of her life, Russ. Relatives and friends are invited to the Beach Church Chapel at Jacksonville Beach for a celebration of life service on May 28th at 2:00 PM.
