Warren Andrew Loyd

Warren Andrew Loyd of Folsom entered eternal rest at the age of 62 on Tuesday morning, October 5, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was born in Anniston, Alabama on April 13, 1959. He is survived by his loving parents Elwood and Cora Lynn Bruhl Loyd of Folsom, his twin sisters Janet Loyd Dixon (Rick) of Houston, TX, and Julie Loyd Payne (Chuck) of Wilsonville, AL. Warren is also survived by his nieces Corey Payne Cunningham (Steven), Lisa Dixon Appleby (Mike), and Becky Dixon, and his nephew Dr. Taylor Payne (Rachel). Warren is also survived by great nieces and great nephews Andrew Cunningham, Kate Cunningham, Ellie Cunningham, Sam Appleby, Lily Appleby, Isaac Payne, and Micah Payne. A native of Louisiana and longtime resident of Folsom, Warren graduated in 1977 from Covington High School. After high school, Warren graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemistry and Computer Science. He retired from the State of Louisiana Department of Insurance after a long career as a Computer Specialist. Warren was a loving, kind, humble, and caring person. He enjoyed music and collecting coins and stamps. However, his true passion was spending time with his beloved family. Warren was well respected and liked, and he will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
